Windows Me C Drive Space Kaise Increase Kare – Complete Step by Step Guide

Aaj ke time me Windows PC users ki sabse common problem hoti hai C drive ka full ho jana. Chahe PC naya ho ya purana, kuch time baad C drive me space kam padne lagta hai.

Iska result hota hai slow performance, Windows update fail hona, software install na hona aur system hang hona.

Is blog me hum detail me samjhenge ki Windows 10 ya Windows 11 me C drive ka space kaise badhaya jata hai, wo bhi bina data loss ke.

C Drive Full Kyu Ho Jati Hai?

C drive full hone ke kuch common reasons hote hain:

  • Windows updates aur system files
  • Temporary files aur cache
  • Software aur applications
  • Pagefile aur hibernation files

Bahut se cases me PC me dusri drive (D ya E) me space available hota hai, lekin C drive ko properly extend nahi kiya jata.

Method 1: Disk Cleanup Se Thoda Space Free Kare

Agar C drive bilkul full nahi hai, to pehle unnecessary files clean karna chahiye.

Step 1

File Explorer open kare → C drive par right click kare → Properties.

Disk Cleanup Windows

Step 2

Disk Cleanup par click kare aur unnecessary files select karke delete kare.

Ye method sirf temporary solution hai. Agar C drive ko permanently bada karna hai, to neeche wale methods follow karne honge.

Method 2: Disk Management Se C Drive Extend Karna

Windows me ek built-in tool hota hai jiska naam hai Disk Management. Isse hum drive extend kar sakte hain, lekin kuch conditions ke saath.

Step 1: Disk Management Open Kare

Keyboard se Windows + X press kare aur Disk Management select kare.

Open Disk Management

Step 2: Disk Layout Samjhe

Yahan aapko disk ka layout dikhega jaise:

  • EFI System Partition
  • Windows (C:)
  • Data Drive (D:)
  • Recovery Partition

Important baat ye hai ki:

C drive ke turant right side me unallocated space hona chahiye.

Step 3: Extend Volume

Agar C drive ke baad directly unallocated space hai:

  • C drive par right click kare
  • Extend Volume par click kare
  • Wizard complete kare
Extend Volume Option

Agar Extend Volume option greyed out hai, to iska matlab ye method kaam nahi karega.

Extend Volume Greyed Out Kyu Hota Hai?

Ye sabse common problem hai. Extend option greyed hone ke reasons:

  • C drive ke baad koi aur partition (jaise D ya Recovery) hai
  • Unallocated space available nahi hai
  • Recovery ya EFI partition beech me hai

Is situation me Disk Management limited ho jata hai.

Method 3: Partition Tool Se C Drive Increase Karna (Recommended)

Jab Disk Management kaam na kare, to Partition Management Tool ka use best option hota hai.

Ye tools aapko allow karte hain:

  • Partition move karna
  • Partition resize karna
  • Recovery partition ko shift karna

Step 1: Extra Data Drive Ko Shrink Kare

Agar D drive me space available hai:

  • D drive ko shrink kare
  • Unallocated space create kare
Shrink Partition

Step 2: Recovery Partition Ko Move Kare

Recovery partition aksar C drive ke baad hota hai aur extend ko block karta hai.

Isse delete karna risky hota hai, isliye:

  • Recovery partition ko move kare
  • Disk ke bilkul end me shift kare

Step 3: C Drive Extend Kare

Ab jab C drive ke right side me unallocated space aa jaye:

  • C drive select kare
  • Resize/Extend option use kare
  • Required space add kare
Resize C Drive

Step 4: Apply Changes

Sab steps complete karne ke baad:

  • Apply button dabaye
  • System restart hoga
  • Process complete ho jayega

Important Safety Tips

  • Process start karne se pehle backup zaroor rakhe
  • EFI aur Recovery partition delete na kare
  • Laptop ho to charging me rakhe
  • Process ke beech PC band na kare

C Drive Increase Karne Ke Baad Kya Check Kare?

Process complete hone ke baad:

  • File Explorer me C drive ka new size check kare
  • System restart karke performance dekhe
  • Windows update check kare

Agar sab sahi hai, to aapka C drive successfully extend ho chuka hai.
